The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 画风真的很棒，绘本式的水墨画风格的动画形象，以电影的方式呈现出来，真的别有一番独特，感觉很温暖治愈。但本片把所有的精力都投入到画风上了，导致这几个故事并不出彩，毫无关联不说，故事吸引力不够，有些小故事甚至就是小学生写流水账作文。这几个故事都没有很出彩的印象深刻的，都比较一般。要是能把故事本身再好好打磨一下就可以算是一部佳作了，可惜了。
一直想给外婆买个电热毯，总是忙这事那事忘记了，最后成了遗憾。

就很值得支持，治愈人心，整体最喜欢小兔那章以及每一章开场白的小兔，剪纸动画效果也很赞，都很温暖，是很好的片子。
糖水铺的原型是文明路隔壁那间今日糖水，善良阿婆变成了动画的蒯老伯，常年劳作酸痛的手，隔壁帮忙的兰州拉面老板，亲近的街坊领居，时不时穿插老伯年轻是喜好甜品的缘由 并将贴着碗边吃凉的教给其他小朋友，因为忙碌少回家的子女，这些都是温馨的日常。这部片过于好睡。
平凡，质朴，温暖。喜欢广东粥铺，河南乡村，四川小店这三个故事。

价值：《向着明亮那方》传递的是中国情感，又是创作者希望世界可以看到历史可以留下的中国情感，希望在双减之年，本片可以成为孩子们和家长们一生珍藏的影集。
习惯性在对故事剧情基本全然不知的情况下直接观影，没想到是部既现实又抓马还蛮搞笑的同性家庭喜剧电影，看片过程中也时常引起了我的各种联想
