The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 故事前段的节奏真的不太行，音乐给的也过于暴力，忍住看完后半段的才能豁然开朗，直呼过瘾，整体质量还是不错的，期待杰洛特的故事。
故事还比较完整，也很紧凑，不出戏、不犯困，比剧版好太多.！
把角色名字换一遍这就是恶魔城大电影，强行换了个猎魔人皮
这个片子的气氛诡异到……是台湾和不是台湾的都沉默了。像一个奇怪的杂交产品。
妈妈我恨你 恨得写了一篇演讲稿想告诉全世界你有多可恶。妹妹说了“你知道妈妈爱你” 在网络不通 成就不好 被体罚很痛 马儿不肯走很郁闷的背后 这份所谓的爱 我全看不见。最后你又说了一次你很爱很爱我，我才了解 我应该是恨你的 恨的不是你带我去美国又回来毁了我的生活，恨的是你总把自己会死挂在嘴边——大概躺在你大腿彼此第一次身贴身了我才知道 我比谁都更不舍得你死。
前面都不错，光影氛围以及林嘉欣演技在线，母女的矛盾让人感同身受。结尾看了个寂寞，信没有读，莫名其妙的和解了，意难平！
这荒野求生阵亡率也太离了，你们吃烧烤也太浪费了，作画细节爆炸比如拿葡萄
魔物的横行、炼金术仕的走火入魔、斩杀魔物的猎魔人。
文化冲突与代际冲突的深处，其实还是控制与逃避，就像剪不断理还乱的结，牢牢地捆着亲子关系，《美国女孩》细腻之处在于，将家庭里的那些没来由的拧巴悄然地传递给了观众，大多数华人家庭里的人，谁没体验过那种无名的怨气呢！
术士还去啥艾瑞图萨啊，跟着猎魔人学法印好了，这威力也太猛了
沒看過原著，但是，無論是誰，都會有錯，這點沒說錯，最後，改正或接受懲罰就好。最近的很多事都一再刷新著認知，呵呵。
再怎么也没想到看片名看海报挑选的电影竟然是部动画片，风格线条啥的都偏简化！其实感觉要是用真人拍的话会更劲爆，会比动画的效果好！
也就音乐能配巫师味了。光鲜亮丽的画面反而造成廉价感，全员嘴瘾又配棉花级配音。
7.5/10 比正传剧集牛多了，维瑟米尔前传拓深了猎魔人的悲哀，把杰洛特和叶妮芙那种传奇式恋爱下沉到了普通人与猎魔人之间渐行渐远，但时间依旧不能割裂爱的牵绊，更具普适性，也更动人，意外律也陪衬得更加残酷。也把原作里维瑟米尔嘴里一带而过的凯尔莫罕大战讲了个明白。但我不满的是权斗和术士的贪欲和妒忌这方面太草率，仅仅归咎于偏见是没啥意思，要学原著中道出“为何偏见”，看来创作团队太轻视观众对于系列的理解力，都以为路人是粉丝的偷懒心态。
应该是挺好的吧……很少看动画电影（迪士尼的除外），有点不适应。
两种疾病，两种问题。癌症对应家庭问题，非典对应新的人际关系的问题。你能看到疾病如何把人降低到事物的层面。疾病不是问题的根源，但它是故事的发动机。或许只有劫后余生之时，我们才能学会重新审视自己对待他人的方式。【6】
都是些很常见的关于家庭处境，矛盾等，往真实里拍，重现旧年代的产物，整体没啥缺点。★★★☆/7.3
打斗场面无可挑剔，作画精细，运镜流畅，血腥加成，巨爽无比，只是前半段叙事较为混乱，时间线跳脱，对于观看体验是有些减分的。 PS.说句题外话，永远也忘不了维瑟米尔在《巫师三》里的那句“Fly!”猎魔人的薪火相传，精神延续，可能就是在这种不断前赴后继保护下一代的进程中，得以永存的吧。 致敬，向每一位光明磊落的猎魔人。
游戏者应该比较比较有感觉，故事完整，不藏不躲，三星可看。
怎么猎魔人也漫威化了？当然这不是我打低分的原因。依旧是非常拧巴的观影过程，尤其男主在很多主观思想上的大转变都太突然了，这绝对不是一个好剧本的表现！男主设定是一个活了七八十岁的人，心理成熟度与女发小却完全不在一个等级，男主前期沉迷金钱和欲望并不奇怪，为精灵和女巫反目也不奇怪，奇怪的是他追下山应该是去杀狐狸，但最后却放过了狐狸，奇怪的是男主刚喊完放下剑，接着就领众人开打，奇怪的是男主前一秒还无法接受猎魔人制造怪物，后一秒就跟猎魔人同心协力战斗，女发小的所有行为到底是为了保护男主还是为了维护和平始终没搞懂，这七十多岁的少女心啊，女巫一心对猎魔人赶尽杀绝，却在狐狸一战中保护和配合男主，他俩这段打情骂俏让最后的生死对决各位拧巴。编剧很明显想把很多元素揉进去以此讨好观众，虽然没有打动我但好像还挺成功的。
