The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 不过感觉还是形式大于内容，在形式上下的功夫很大，且估计CC又去补了点文学理论和编剧技巧hhh但是就是没有RTD那种浑然天成且能自然而然打动人的感觉。
幼儿园和养老院联动的问题真的可以考虑一下，白天在幼儿园上课，放学送到养老院跟老人玩，晚上再由刚下班的社畜爸妈接回家。
感觉也是不错的一集啦，恐惧感、紧迫感、压迫感，第十三任博士的感觉都在～期待后续的最后两个特辑，以及十三姨一定要出现在RTD的六十周年特辑里哇！
千年王八万年戴立克，虽然知道它的王牌地位，也修改和扩充了它因时代的局限性而造成的不足基因，让它与时俱进，但每次看到它们，仍然难以让我信服这种生物的强大和恐惧的合理性，虽然我还是会催眠自己信服。所以能不能跳出舒适圈创造点新鲜的啊？
一般般吧，妈妈演技还凑合，其他人基本都offline，女儿有点像大妈；
虽然和某部分TV版剧情一样，但还是蛮好看的，寓教于乐挺好的
前半部分水平在线，真切地投入情绪想到自己的娃，后半部分老人环节有点儿过了，霸王龙的主题曲出现遍数太多，也有点尬。

和以前看的动画片剧情一模一样，白瞎我电影票钱
整体来讲是一部立意非常好的的电影，很适合孩子看，跟孩子的成长经历有相似的地方。
剧情一般般，开头就猜到了结尾，还是玩烂了的time loop，实在是惊喜不起来
不是CC你是不是觉得你很幽默“观众看了三集都没有看出来13和Yaz的感情戏是因为Yaz暗恋博士！怎么样我把暗恋拍的多好！没有一个观众看得出来！”你以为你很幽默吗？？？我去三季了整整三季了！！就tm烟花那里让我觉得她们是双向的，甚至Yaz和Ryan的互动都比跟13暧昧，我甚至都默认这对cp了结果Ryan突然走了？？？然后Yaz突然告诉Dan她已经暗恋13很久了？？？这是在干什么！！！搞咩啊！！！打咩！！！我不接受好吗！我不接受！！
孩子现在变乖了也不模仿奥特曼了，天天在家里搞恶作剧，被我一顿毒打，还告诉我这都是动画片里学的
最后经典歌曲出来的时候全场大合唱的感觉超级棒
老黄瓜刷绿漆，和原版比显得冗长，但结尾依旧令人动容，感谢上美给予孩子们的美好童年和包含着善良与平等内核的价值取向
孩子喜欢，幼儿园小朋友的形象很是深入，调皮捣蛋听话可爱
国庆陪家里小朋友，看得还挺开心的，但是最后那段虽然我知道是想要说关爱老人，但是要在给小朋友看的动画里面塞这个玩意总觉得怪怪的，就像网友说的“这是少子化老龄化压力下的童话”。再就是在电影院听到葫芦娃、黑猫警长动画歌曲的时候小感动了一下，转念一想。。。难道这么多年了小朋友们还在看同样动画？中国动画行业的悲哀啊。。。

略无聊/疑似bug，前一个loop好几次角色出场秒死（存活小于1min）理论上下一个loop就不会出现了&Dalek怎么被骗的没太看明白
行，我压了两年的cp成真了，一方面为官宣而感到快乐，另一方面为这特辑只剩下特么俩而感到痛苦。三四年了，cc，你有cp不早点拿出来，你搁这儿厚积薄发呢？就仨特辑你搁这儿扯啥呢？等着RTD善后啊？换个演员，换个性别，换了博士演员然后yaz还在ta身边那就是yaz的痛苦。除非RTD处理成11C改12C那样，性质也不一样了。你CC要是拉着Yaz跟13一块领便当，那我可真谢谢你
